From messy spreadsheets to clear decisions
I’m the Bajan Data Guy. I help Barbados businesses turn the numbers they already have into decisions they can trust.
When the numbers feel messy
Sound familiar?
Your sales live in five different spreadsheets, and none of them agree.
You only find out a month was slow after it’s already over.
Pulling the weekly report together eats up hours you don’t have.
Big decisions get made on gut feel because nobody trusts the numbers.
You don’t need more data. You need to see what the data you already have is telling you.
How I help
Three ways to get your data working
01
Data cleaning
Turning messy spreadsheets and scattered records into clean data you can trust.
02
Data analytics
Finding the patterns in your data and turning them into clear, usable insights.
03
Data strategy
Building a plan that lines up your data and technology with your business goals.
Why work with me
Big-consultancy thinking, built for Bajan businesses
You get the same careful analysis larger firms pay for, explained in plain language and sized to fit your business. I live and work here, so I understand the market your numbers come from.
Plain language
No jargon. You’ll understand every number I hand you and what to do with it.
Local context
Built around how businesses in Barbados actually run, not a template from overseas.
Start small
Begin with one problem, see the result, then decide what comes next.
Results
What clear data has already done
Before consulting, I spent over a decade solving problems with data inside Barbados’ labs and power stations. A few of the results:
66%
fewer engine leaks and outages in three years, from a simple trend-tracking program in Excel.
50%
less time spent producing lab reports after moving the whole lab from paper to digital.
$2M+
in capital projects approved on business cases I wrote and backed with the numbers.
Meet Ross
Problem solver by nature. Data analyst by choice.
I’m Ross Chase. I spent over a decade as a power chemist before realising the part I loved most was the data. Since 2022 I’ve built forecasts, dashboards and reporting systems across e-commerce and one of the Caribbean’s largest groups. Now I bring that work to businesses here at home.
Research
Barbados by the numbers
I use public data to answer real questions about Barbados. It’s the same work I do for clients, just out in the open.
